"Maidaan" Inspired by the Indian national football team coach and manager Syed Abdul Rahim, who is regarded as the architect of Indian football. “Maidaan” is produced by Zee Studios, part of its extensive 2023 slate, Boney Kapoor, Arunava Joy Sengupta and Akash Chawla. Music is by Oscar-, BAFTA-, Golden Globe- and Grammy winner A.R. Rahman. The “Maidaan” film is scheduled for theatrical release on 23 June 2023.
Syed Abdul Rahim was an Indian football coach and manager of the Indian national team from 1950 – 1963. His stint as a coach for the team made the country win a gold medal in Asian Games 1962 in Jakarta, Maidaan is scheduled to be released on 23 June 2023.
